Built on Experience, Driven by Impact

We exist because energy decisions shape business futures, and those decisions deserve rigorous, independent guidance.

How We Started

vivid-nebula began when three energy engineers left corporate roles to build something different. We'd spent years advising on large infrastructure projects, but kept seeing the same pattern: mid-sized businesses were locked out of quality energy consulting.

They didn't need megaproject strategies. They needed practical assessments, clear numbers, and someone who understood their constraints.

So we built a practice around that gap. Bristol became our base because the city's business community values both innovation and pragmatism, which mirrors how we work.

Our Approach

Data-First Recommendations

We measure everything. Baseline consumption, projected savings, implementation costs, payback timelines. You get numbers you can defend to stakeholders.

Technology-Agnostic Advice

We don't sell equipment or represent vendors. Our only incentive is finding what actually works for your situation, whether that's solar, efficiency upgrades, or smarter procurement.

Implementation Support

Strategy documents gather dust. We stay engaged through rollout, troubleshooting obstacles and adjusting plans when reality doesn't match projections.

What Guides Our Work

Honesty About Limitations

Not every building is a good candidate for solar. Not every business should rush into renewable contracts. We tell you what won't work as clearly as what will.

Local Knowledge

UK energy policy, regional grid constraints, local installer quality, Bristol's planning requirements. Geography matters in energy transitions, and we know this territory.

Long-Term Thinking

Energy infrastructure lasts decades. We optimize for durability and adaptability, not just immediate cost savings.

Who We Work With

Our typical clients are established businesses with 20 to 500 employees: manufacturing facilities, commercial property managers, hospitality groups, and logistics operations. They're past the startup phase and ready to invest in infrastructure that reduces risk and operational costs.

We also partner with architecture firms during building design phases and work with local councils on district energy planning.
